If
you are considering the AFL™/Noyes™ Contractor Series™ test kit,
CONSIDER THIS FIRST:
Wouldn't
it make more sense to spend less
for a test kit with superior specifications
AND fiber certification report printing?
That's
what you get with OWL Installer Series test kits.
The
real value of OWL Installer Series test kits is the ability to certify fiber links,
a feature no fiber cable installer should go without. Not only are customers increasingly demanding printed
certification reports for their fiber installations, certification reports
are also proof of an installer's job well done in case of disputes.
Key advantages of OWL Installer Series test
kits:
Affordability. Who can afford to spend a few extra dollars, especially in this economy?
Superior specifications. Better accuracy, wider measurement range, and more wavelength options mean more value for your dollar.
Popular current cabling standards built right in. No matter what current cabling standard your customer requests, you can test it.
PASS/FAIL results in the field. No more guesswork or wondering if the link is "good or not"; you'll know right away without the hassle of manually calculating your link budget.
Data storage/printed test results. A requirement for most
fiber optic installations, and is especially important when applying for cabling manufacturer warranties.
Across
the board, the OWL Installer Series meets or beats the AFL™/Noyes™
Contractor Series™ where it counts.
It is easy to see why OWL is the WISE
choice for installers everywhere!

NOTE
ABOUT UNIVERSAL PORTS:
The current Micro OWL 2
series meters come standard with a small state-of-the-art UNIVERSAL
adapter fully reliable to allow use of ST, SC, FC or any 2.5 mm patch
cables as test cable which saves money on consumables (test cables
wear out). Sorry physics and optics do not allow the same universal
connector to work well on any brand of the light source. Hence,
light sources must have ST, SC, or FC connector ports.
OPTIONAL
INTEGRATED VFL PORT
(add 200.00 to kit price)
Flashing red Visual Fault
Locator (VFL; also known as VFF)
