FIBER OPTIC LINK CERTIFICATION
Customers are increasingly requiring fiber cabling installers to certify their fiber optic installations. Certification reports submitted to customers provide verification that the fibers were successfully tested according to a cabling standard, demonstrate the quality of the fiber link installation, and are also proof of a job well done in cases of dispute. Below are some examples of printed reports and screenshots generated by OWL certification test kits. Not only can OWL certification test kits produce certification reports, OWL certification testers also perform in-field certification so installers can see if the link is certified without having to download the test results first. By having popular cabling standards integrated into the power meter, in-field certification test results give the installer the opportunity to fix the problem and re-test the fiber on the spot.
